GFP wins M.O.D. prototype ducting work21/06/10 | GFP Engineering are proud to announce they have been awarded fast track prototype work for an M.O.D. vehicle which involves moulding crew air flow modification parts made from fibreglass. We are using the latest in 3D IGES data modelling to produce GRP tooling and GRP prototype parts. We have a long history of supply to the Defence sector, so we have a great deal of experience in composite part development.

GRP Pultruded Profiles and GRP Grating PanelsGFP Engineering are stockists of GRP grating flooring panels and GRP profiles, including angle, channel, box and tube sections. Our grating conforms to loading standard in BSEN1422 & BS5395 and our profiles are fully tested to BS5395 deflection standard. Its benefits include high strength and low weight ratio, corrosion and fire resistant and require zero maintenance. GRP Profiles
GRP Flat Sheet PanelsGRP flat sheet is manufactured to customer requirements with a variety of resins for usage in general purpose, high temperature and chemical environments. Available in various thicknesses from 3mm up to 10mm with a smooth gelcoat high gloss or matt finish to one side and a scrim tissue textured finish to the reverse. Other finishes like gritted and flow coated can be custom made to specific customer requirement. Stock sizes are 3 x 1.5m, 3 x 1.35m, 3 x 1.2m and 3 x 0.9m. BS 4800 and 5252 or RAL colours are available.
