GRP Launder Channels

GRP Launder channels are manufactured by GFP Engineering to WIMES standard specification and are moulded with a high degree of accuracy. Their function is to decant the sewage liquor or water from tanks and GFP are equally adept at providing solutions for various designs. We have supplied GRP launder channels in sectional mouldings to suit Z shaped and U shaped with a stand off or flat against the side wall of the tank.

The GRP launder channels come with a variety of mounted GRP weir plates with neoprene rubber seals and either the inside face of the launder acting as an integral scumboard or separate scumboards with a stand off bracket. Bracket supports are designed with the tank diameter and depth in mind in order to resist the upthrust of the water when the tank fills and to support the loads when the tank is in use. Top flange returns are an added feature to keep the launder channel straight when the forces impacting on it are creating tension and compression loads.
